Today, through @SALTER.me, Steven supports select investor, transaction, and strategic leadership advisory engagements, typically around moments of structural change or commercial inflection. This includes investment events, mergers and acquisitions, leadership transitions, platform build strategy, and executive and non executive leadership structure and hiring.
Engagements are highly selective, relationship led, and delivered in complete confidence, typically alongside existing investor, board, or senior leadership advisory relationships.

ABOUT ME
I have spent nearly three decades operating inside global retained Executive Search and leadership markets, beginning my career in the United States before returning to the United Kingdom and working internationally throughout my career.
​
My experience spans global search firms, private equity backed businesses, and professional advisory work across the global executive search and recruitment industry.
​
I founded @SALTER.ME in 2011 to reflect a discreet, insight led, and relationship driven approach to working across the search and leadership ecosystem, built around long standing relationships with search firm leadership teams, founders, investors, and senior industry operators internationally.
​
My career has included leading Ajilon Executive, the retained executive search arm of Adecco, before joining Hamilton Bradshaw as Head of Talent, working alongside investors and leadership teams on human capital strategy, leadership hiring, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and growth strategy. These years provided a deep understanding of leadership, commercial performance, and long term value creation inside commercially driven organisations.

Today, through @SALTER.ME, I support a small number of long standing relationships across the global executive search and recruitment industry, alongside select investor, transaction, and strategic leadership advisory engagements. This work typically sits around moments of structural change or commercial inflection, including investment events, leadership transitions, platform build strategy, and executive and non executive leadership structure and hiring.
